One of the world’s most popular and acclaimed live bands, SIMPLE MINDS return to Australia this February as part of their V Tour 2027, celebrating five decades of music.
Since the release of their debut album Life in a Day, SIMPLE MINDS have enjoyed a remarkable career, selling out arenas and stadiums across the globe. Renowned for their anthemic choruses and expansive sound, the band became one of the defining acts of the 1980s. Their enduring catalogue includes global hits ‘Alive and Kicking’, ‘Promised You A Miracle’, ‘Waterfront’, ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’, ‘Belfast Child’, ‘Sanctify Yourself’, ‘She’s a River’, ‘Let There Be Love’ and over 60 million albums sales worldwide.
Frequently cited as an influence by younger artists, the band continues to receive critical acclaim. Joining the SIMPLE MINDS V Tour 2027 as very special guest is GARY NUMAN, who makes his long-awaited return Down Under, his first Australian tour in over a decade.
